PV03A is a young cow bred by Crescent Harbor Ranch. Being a very fertile cow she has bred via AI on the first attempt every year. The confirmed
heifer pregnancy she is now carrying is sired by the unsurpassed World K’s Sanjirou (FB2501) and due April 1, 2018, IBC = 3%. She is an AA5 cow with an excellent disposition and is well bred with Itoshigefuji, Sanjirou, Fukutsuru, Kikuyasu-400, Takazakura and Michifuku lines. Bay Ito Macho 177 is a very correct, show quality, AA10 bull with a YW gain of 2.47#’s/day. Itoshigefuji, Itomoritaka, Michifuku, Itoshigenami, and Kitiguni are the prominent lines in Macho’s pedigree. Macho weighed 65 pounds at birth and 965 as a yearling.

With accuracy figures of 80%, 723T’s 200-day Weight EBV (+15) and 400-day Weight EBV (+32) are in the top 10% and top 5% of the breed, respectively, according to BREEDPLAN. 723T’s Fullblood Terminal Index of +$223 ranks him in the top 7%. An excellent Milking EBV (+8), ranking him in the top 3%, can be expected to be passed on to progeny from this combination of genetics. In addition, 723T’s Carcass Weight EBV (+37) ranks him in the top 1%. 723T’s dam, WKS Reiko, was among the first foundation animals brought into the US (in 1994) and was sired by Kitaguni 78 − who was listed as the #3 Sire by Kenichi Ono in Elite Wagyu in Japan. Kitaguni 78 was the winner of the 2002 All-Japan Carcass Contest and is the sire of Kitaguni Jr. Certainly Kitaguni 78’s presence on the maternal side of Toshiro’s pedigree accounts for much of his astounding marbling ability.
